I thought I'd give you some eye candy to celebrate Madonna's MDNA show tomorrow at The Aviva Stadium. I was a little crazy about Madonna while growing up and was frequently caught wearing absolutely nothing but my mother's tights and lace fingerless gloves at age of four. I thank my aunt for giving me Madonna's "Who's That Girl" album for my birthday. This amazing image was shot by Steven Meisel for Italian Vogue in 1991. It really reminds me of the images of Marilyn Monroe riding an elephant in Madison Square Gardens, the ultimate showgirl. Madonna returns to Marilyn for inspiration over and over again, including one of her latest videos for "Gimme All Your Loving" which sees Madge, M.I.A and Nicki Minaj all rocking the Monroe look. I'm also a huge Marilyn fan but it's Madonna's ever changing image that has had the most effect on me. She is such a cameleon, I'm sure it's one of the factors that brought me to a career in makeup.
